I remember Jane as a junior transfer student. She had a cute face, "flip" hair, and great smile
that would not quit. As the new girl in school she became the perfect choice for Homecoming Queen in 1965.
I didn't get to really know Jane until after high school. It was in the summer of '67 that we began to
spend time together and I got to know her optimistic spirit and great outlook on life. We spend many evenings talking
and laughing about all the absurdities of life. I had great respect for her as a person and feel a great loss for
not being able to talk with her again.
She was one classmate that chose to not come to any reunions.
I am sorry for that. I would have loved to tell her how much fun I had with her and how much our times together ment
to me. Tim Lewis
