Kelley and Harrison Elementary will forever be in my heart. I can still see Kelley standing out in the rain with her
yellow safety belt on waiting for traffic to stop and students go across the street. Kelley with the bowl hair cut who always
seems so much more "worldly" than me. There were always VU students in and out of her house where we played the
grand piano, ate popcorn and just talked. Me calling Kelley on the phone for help with the dreaded math problems. Then there
were the "band years". All the travel...all the excitement of performing and our "band family". I remember
riding in the car with Kelley right after she got her license. She looked so confident! Sadly, I lost touch with Kelley even
though we were both at Indiana State, me in the marching band, she in the Sparkettes. I do know that she became a lawyer and
a judge. Thanks Kelley, for all the good times and memories!!
